Unity How to Set 2D Camera for Pixel Perfect

By default your textures/sprites get imported at 100 Pixels per Unit (PPU). Don't set this number too small or the physics calculations might mess up.

  • Use Camera Projection Orthographic. This is the default for 2D projects;
  • Set Camera Size to (desired resolution height / 2 / PPU)

Example for resolution 1024×768:

768 / 2 / 100 = 3.84;

Camera Size = 3.84;
